Wentworth College’s 2014 Trip to Los Angeles!

We hope everyone’s fully recovered from jet lag following what proved to be one of the most enjoyable and interesting trips taken by the college! Spring trip to Los Angeles!

Following the success of the college’s trip to Los Angeles in 2009, we’re very excited at the prospect of returning to the city for our 2014 trip, the details of which will be announced shortly. The trip isn’t just for arts students – we’ll be focusing on film, media and photography in our itinerary but you can expect to have an incredible time whatever you’re studying. Football is back at Wentworth!

A new academic year for Wentworth College means the opening of a new football season for Wentworth FC. Once again we’ll be training at Whitefields astroturf, and playing competitive games against local schools and colleges. We’re always on the lookout for new talent, so if you’ve got the silky skills of Messi, a cultured right foot to rival Ronaldo, or even the no-nonsense attitude of Razor Ruddock, your college team needs you! National Youth Film Festival

The UK’s first ever National Youth Film Festival will take place from during October and November 2013, supported by the BFI’s Education Scheme. The festival will include free screenings nationwide of over 100 films. Included in the programme are Hollywood blockbusters, classic films and British independent movies, from Hitchcock classic Rebecca to Superman reboot Man of Steel. The festival also includes Q&A sessions, filmmaking workshops and premieres.
